Courses can be designed as per specific office/individual requirements.Lecture sessions will be conducted either on a full day basis or between 12.00 to 5.00 pm. schedules can be arranged as per the convenience of both the candidate and IGTLJ.Courses can be scheduled and will be confirmed only with the registration and payment of full fees.Course dates will be scheduled three day after all registration formalities are completed.Course schedules for short courses will be continuous without any breaks/absenteeism. Only official holidays will be considered. Additional dates will not be scheduled for missed sessions.A candidate must have 90% attendance to quality for a certificate of participation.

Duration can be defined by candidate whether two / five / fifteen days by request-slot availability.

This course will cover only cut and polished stone and will emphasis the use of the 10x lens and microscope identification.

This course has been especially and commonly designed for traders and dealers who wants to take knowledge regarding navaratna only in spite of doing all mentioned before. With increasing number of stones selected, there is a corresponding decrease in the number of session per gemstones.

  • PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS : Hardness, Cleavage, Fracture, S.G. heft estimation.
  • OPTICAL CHARECTERSTIST : Transparency, Reflection & Refraction, Polarizations, color and its causes , pleochroism, Dispersion, Phenomenal effects.
  • INSTRUMENTS USED : 10xlense (mainly) Polariscope Reflectomer
  • GEMESTONE USED : Diamond, Ruby, sapphire (white, Blue, yellow), Coral, Pearl, Hessonite, Garnet, Emerald, Chrysoberyl cat's eye .
  • Simplified system of Identification : Specific gemstone from its simulants.
  • Types of cuts used, the importance of orientation.
  • World - wide occurrence.
